Susan Bones is a British half-blood witch, a Hufflepuff student on Harry's course, a minor character in the novel "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality". She is the grand-niece of Amelia Bones who is the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Susan first appears at the Distribution Ceremony in, where she is assigned to Hufflepuff . Then she attends a potions lesson, where she witnesses a scene between Harry and Professor Snape. Susan signs up for Professor Quirrell's extracurricular classes and gets into the Sunshine Regiment, where she becomes a captain. Susan repeatedly participates in battles with other members of her army. Susan attends a lesson on the Patronus Spell and, frightened after the incident with Hermione, refuses her attempt to try the spell . Then Susan, along with Hermione, Hannah Abbot, Padma and Parvati Patil, Tracey Davis, Daphne Greengrass, Lavender Brown and several other students and professors, appears at a rally near Dumbledore's office, where Hermione proclaims Society for the Promotion of Heroic Equality for Witches. In the first battle with the seventh-year Slytherin, Susan gets several minor injuries. After that, she asks seventh-year Nymphadora Tonks to sometimes replace her in battles with bullies. Susan and her friends witness a performance played by Harry Potter, which saves them from an attack by Slytherins. She attends Professor Quirrell's sudden exam and passes it at least "Acceptable" . During Harry's battle with Voldemort, Susan, most likely, like the whole of Hogwarts, was at the final Quidditch match.
Personality and traits
Susan may try too hard to complete tasks and rush, but at the same time not think, as a result of which she has difficulties. Susan is persistent and smart, she is often the voice of reason among her friends. For example, she is the only one anticipating the failure of the Society for the Promotion of Heroic Equality for Witches.
