Ron Weasley is a British wizard and the first wizard ever to go to space (not counting Tom Riddle's horcrux), as part of the Tower's space program.
Biography[]
In 1991, Ron enters Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor. At King's Cross, he tries to befriend Harry Potter and to discourage him from talking to Draco Malfoy, but Harry finds him entitled and not interesting enough.
In the autumn, he joins Professor Quirrell's armies and becomes a Captain in Hermione Granger's Sunshine Regiment.
In 1999, Ron is one of the Tower's two sfaironauts, the other one being Basil Horton. He becomes the first wizard to go to space, on board the Monroe.
On May 19th, 1999, during the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry missions Ron, Basil, and Luna Lovegood to take the Mirror of Perfect Reflection on board the Monroe with an undisclosed, last-resort plan to protect him and wizardkind from the Three.
