Magical China is governed by the Court of Rubies which is located in HangzhouW. As of 1999, it is presided by He Jin. Sunny Chow is the Special Envoy from the British Wizengamot (canon) to the Court of Rubies.

Magical China has a traditional value for immortality and a long specialization in potioneering.
