Hyori Li is a member of the Returned who is freed from Azkaban by Hermione Granger. She is described as extremely laconic and deadly serious. In 1999, Hermione thinks she seems to become more grim every year and considers her an enigma.
Biography[]
Hyori is British of Korean descent.
She is a high-ranking duelist before being sentenced to Azkaban for murder aforethought.
On December 23rd, 1992, she is freed by Hermione Granger. She then becomes a member of the Returned.
In April 1999, during the investigation of the Alþing bombing, she investigates Tarleton Gest's friend Bill Kemp with Suzie Lectenberg. She fights in the Armin Arms and is captured by Limpel Tineagar with Hermione, Tonks, and Esther.
She busts a Honourable hideout in Knockturn Alley (canon) with Hermione and Suzie and several Aurors.
During the One-Day War, she and the Returned defend the British Ministry of Magic (canon) against a Cappadocian attack.
She fights during Bellatrix Black's attack on the Tower during the Peace Summit.
On May 19th, 1999, she is captured by Meldh's slaves in the Tower before going on to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts where she is taken by Unseelie.
